Wants and Needs

To want and to need;

Two different beasts are used interchangeably.

Twas thought that society must be 

The reason for misrepresentation.

So came the argument;

Slyly cushioning behind that pathetic excuse.

Since it was doing naught but 

Serving lies to people on a silver platter.

A jarring entity was thought to be

Astray from humanity, but who knew;

Afar in a metropolis, there are some people

Amongst us who can see.

Wanting and needing are those

Which baffle, so used;

We cannot open our eyes to reality, to the

Waning of our preposterous beliefs,

With untold philosophy beneath.

What has become of us?
